County Specific Statistics Home

Find out how your county ranked for risk of firearm violence. Below you will find links to tables that provide county-by-county data on overall firearm mortality rates as well as firearm suicide, firearm homicide and accidental death rates for the years 1995-2004 combined. Death rate measures the frequency of the type of death in the population, a higher rate is indicative of a higher rate of occurrence. Data was derived from the Washington State Department of Health Vital Statistics reports. Please note that small counts may affect the accuracy of rate calculation, for that reason rates are not shown for accidental/unintentional firearm deaths.
